Sharing teachable moments through stories for young children
Kids always want a story before bedtime. As a grandmother, I have always liked to create my own stories in my head. The kids – ages newborn to 7 yrs - love my stories, so I decided to put them into book form for others to enjoy. Each story I create has a learning focus – something that helps them understand and navigate the challenges of growing up.

As a former communications executive, writing comes easily to me. Now that I am retired, I want to put my writing skills to use in a fun way that also helps kids.

Mary Healy Zaleski retired after more than 40 years as a communications and marketing executive. A mother to three beautiful daughters - Ashley, Lauren and Jessica - and now a grandmother of seven little ones, she is finding a new use for her creative talents. Each story she creates has a learning focus – something to help kids understand and navigate the challenges of growing up.
